Site shows family restaurant chain's menu for "afterschool get-togethers"

Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: The Denny's chain of family restaurants in Japan created a new section on its website to showcase its menu items for breakfasts, afterschool gatherings, and parties. For its "Afterschool Get-Togethers" scene, Denny's posted a picture of four girls with striking similarities to the Hōkago Teatime ("Afterschool Teatime") band in the K-ON! high school slice-of-life manga and anime franchise. Among the four afterschool menu items that Denny's highlights is creamy pearl milk tea.

Update: Denny's Japan insisted on its official Twitter account on Wednesday that the image is original. However, Denny's May 26 post added that customers would enjoy a fun time at Denny's afterschool, just as in the ongoing K-ON! anime sequel. [Via Terrafor]
