The official website for the live-action drama adaptation of Masayuki Ishikawa's Moyashimon manga has posted its third 30-second promotional video on Friday. (In the linked page, select the pink "スペシャル" germ in the menu at the bottom. The previous videos are still available at the same link.) The series will premiere on July 8 as the first live-action work on the Fuji TV's popular late-night Noitamina timeslot. The story follows a college student who discovers that he can see and communicate with the germs all around him — germs that appear as super-deformed characters. Del Rey Manga is publishing the second manga volume in North America this month.

The official website of the Sekirei television anime adaptation has begun streaming a 30-second Tokyo MX commercial and a 15-second Tokyo MX commercial for the new anime sequel, Sekirei: Pure Engagement, on Monday. The second season based on Sakurako Gokurakuin's Sekirei magical romantic comedy manga will officially premiere in Japan on July 4, although the first television episode, "Shizuka Naru Yochō," had an advance broadcast in Tokyo this past Sunday. Funimation announced last November that it licensed the first 12-episode Sekirei anime series for North America.

Japan's Fuji-Q Highland amusement park has posted its second progress report video on the world's first life-size bust of the EVA-01 unit from the Evangelion anime franchise on Wednesday. The video covers the construction of not only the Eva-01 bust, but also the life-size cockpit and the life-size figure of the character Kaworu Nagisa. The first progress report video is still available, and the next video will debut on June 23. The "Evangelion: World - Life-Size EVA-01 Construction Project" pavilion will open on July 23.

The official YouYube channel for Takeshi Koike and MADHOUSE's Redline car-racing anime film posted a 52-second trailer (short version) on Friday. The film will open in Japan this October after advance screenings at international film festivals.
