Eagle Talon's Frogman Animates Hybrid Deka Flash Film

Frogman's 6th theatrical film turns Eagle Talon's supreme leader into a detective

The popular Flash animator Frogman is producing Hybrid Deka, his sixth theatrical film which will open early next year. Frogman is best known for his Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume (Secret Society Eagle Talon) television and film comedy franchise, which follows a nefarious organization's bumbling attempts to take over the world.

In Hybrid Deka, Eagle Talon's supreme leader leaves the secret society and becomes a detective who upholds the law and protects the weak. As he did in previous works, Frogman is writing, directing, animating, and voicing the project almost entirely himself. Cinema Today began streaming the film's 64-second teaser trailer on its YouTube channel on Monday.

The production company DLE Inc. and FROGMAN launched the original Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume television series in 2006, and the series spawned three films. Frogman also created the theatrical Flash-animated film, Sguy and The Family Stone the Movie, in 2007.

A Eagle Talon television sequel, Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume Countdown (Secret Society Eagle Talon: Countdown), premiered last fall, and the third film, Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume The Movie 3 ~http://takanotsume.jp wa Eien ni~, opened in Japan this past January. The third Eagle Talon film made headlines when Britain's Got Talent performer Susan Boyle contributed her star-making cover of the Les Misérables stage musical's "I Dreamed a Dream" song as the film's theme song.
