Dragon Ball SD Manga Spinoff to Be Printed in December

The official website of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine confirmed on Monday that the new Super Strong Jump (Saikyō Jump) magazine will print Dragon Ball SD, Naho Ōishi's special manga spinoff based on Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball fighting manga. The manga will feature the misadventures of Son Goku, Krillin, and other friends from the original story. The website hints that another popular character will also appear in Dragon Ball SD.

In addition, the magazine will run four other special Shonen Jump manga spinoffs: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden (from Naruto) by Kenji Taira, Chopperman (from One Piece) by Hirofumi Takei, Vongola GP (Grand Prix) Kuru! (from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) by Toshinori Takayama, and Gourmet Gakuen Toriko (from Toriko) by Akitsugu Mizumoto. The magazine will launch on December 3 with a poster for next year's Jump Heroes Film, a stereoscopic 3D double-billing of One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase and Toriko 3D: Kaimaku Gourmet Adventure!!
