posted on by Egan Loo
2nd Hen Zemi DVD to ship in March; Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? to debut next month

The Japanese publisher Kodansha began streaming a 145-second promotional video for the original anime DVD adaptation of TAGRO's Abnormal Physiology Seminar (Hen Zemi) manga on Tuesday. In the story, Nanako Matsutaka has been assigned to an Abnormal Physiology Seminar full of odd college students, even though she herself is an ordinary person with no abnormalities in particular. The second original anime DVD will ship in the limited edition of the fifth manga volume on March 23, 2011, and a television anime version has also been green-lit.

Kadokawa Shoten's website for the Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? television anime series has also begun streaming a 31-second live-action commercial for the anime on Tuesday. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 10.

In Shinichi Kimura's original light novel series, a lazy high school boy named Ayumu Aikawa gets killed during a spate of mysterious serial killings. However, Ayumu is resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer girl named "Yū" (Eucliwood Hellscythe), who Ayumu had just met before dying. Ayumu reawakens in a world surrounded by "masō shōjo" (magically equipped girls) and vampire ninja. Ayumu is assigned the duties of a masō shōjo by a magical warrior girl named Haruna.
