News Yoshinobu Sena, Anipicture, Asahi Create Install Anime
posted on 2011-02-01 10:10 EST
The companies Anipicture and Asahi Production launched a website for their joint anime production Install on Monday. The story centers around a young man named Chikage Kamiyashiro with "Install" — the power to control the 108 divine seals known as "In" which were stolen from the gods. Mahiru (Rena Tsuzuki) is Chikage's childhood friend who also gets caught up in the ensuing battles in their hometown of Takaamahara.
The performer Yoshinobu Sena not only created, wrote, and directed the project, but also voiced the main character. Mika Sawada and Ryoichi Murata are designing the characters, and Akito Fujii is composing the music.
The website is streaming a 37-second commercial:

Ed and Al get wrapped up in a multifactional conflict on Amestris's western border in this Brotherhood movie. Though it features thrilling action and a decent story, its inconsistent artistry is decidedly substandard.
Through the first few chapters, this volume of Bakuman may not seem all that impressive ... but it improves dramatically as the tension escalates in the second half.
One faction battling here, another one over there, and goodness knows when it's all going to end. If this is the current state of ninja warfare, it's going to be a long, tedious fight.
A beautiful, carefully detailed and altogether pleasant wisp of a film that does absolutely everything – from the characters' personalities to the story construction to the emotional stakes that hold the whole thing together – in miniature.
With this novel the storyline steps beyond the animated content, spinning a new tale of the trials and tribulations of Lawrence and Holo as they seek stories of pagan gods in a northern village. It offers up healthy doses of everything that has made the series great so far.
