Dark Horse Comics wins Manga Publisher of the Year award
North America's Diamond Comic Distributors announced the winners of its 2010 Gem Awards on Monday. Each year, the distributor grants awards "based on quality, creativity, and their overall sales impact."
Dark Horse Comics won the 2010 Manga Publisher of the Year award. This award was established in 2009, when Viz Media won.
Yen Press and Young Kim's Twilight graphic novel won the 2010 Manga of the Year award. Past winners include Naruto volume 45 (2009), Naruto volume 28 (2008), and Naruto volume 14 (2007).
Dark Horse Comics issued a press release acknowledging its award.
