News Suspect Arrested for Uploading Bakuman. via Share Program

On May 31, police in Japan arrested Yutaka Nonaka, a 32-year-old company worker from Tendō City in Yamagata Prefecture, on suspicion of using the Share file-sharing software to upload anime online without the copyright holders' permission. According to the police report, the suspect uploaded Shogakukan Shueisha Production's Bakuman. anime around April 26.
This is the first arrest on copyright violation via Share in Yamagata Prefecture. The man's confiscated computer reportedly had many anime videos, so the police are investigating other possible offenses.
