Well Go USA Partners with Cult Movie Label The Sushi Typhoon

posted on by Daryl Bunao

The Texas-based movie distribution company Well Go USA (Ip Man, The King of Fighters) signed an eight-year deal to ship titles from Japanese studio Nikkatsu's cult cinema line, Sushi Typhoon. Among the first titles to be released by Well Go USA includes the action-comedy Mutant Girls Squad, the Japanese zombie flick Helldriver, the live-action adaptation of Ken Ishikawa's manga Yakuza Weapon (Gokudō Heiki), baseball-focused action "Deadball" and 1970's tokusatsu revival "Karate-Robo Zaborgar."

Anime distributors Funimation worked with Nikkatsu last year to release live action movie Alien vs. Ninja under a "first-look" agreement.
