3rd Carnival Phantasm BD to Bundle Melty Blood Game

The Japanese studio Type-Moon updated the official website for the video anime Carnival Phantasm on Thursday by adding a release schedule and packaging details. Animated by the new studio Lerche, Carnival Phantasm features popular characters from Type-Moon's Tsukihime and Fate/stay night franchises in new, non-canon side stories.
Among the new information, the third limited-edition Blu-ray Disc will ship with the personal computer game Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code ver. 1.07. This is the latest revision of the popular Japanese fighting game that pits characters from Tsukihime against each other. The original game first debuted in arcades in 2008, and it was ported to the Japanese PlayStation 2 console in 2009. Among other enhancements, Version 1.07 adds new playable characters, Shinso Arcueid and Powered Ciel.
The first season Blu-ray Disc of Carnival Phantasm are being sold early at Comic Market 80 (August 12-14) in Tokyo. The second and third seasons will be released on October 28 and at the end of December, respectively.
