A beautiful, carefully detailed and altogether pleasant wisp of a film that does absolutely everything – from the characters' personalities to the story construction to the emotional stakes that hold the whole thing together – in miniature.

Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000% episodes 1-13 streaming
For all of its oddness, Uta no Prince-sama is a compulsively enjoyable show, at least for those within its target audience. It aspires to be nothing more than what it is, a fun, fluffy, j-pop soaked reverse harem tale aimed squarely at the fangirls, and at that, it succeeds.

A master of dating sims who generally rejects reality must try to use his game skills on real girls in this comedy/drama from Manglobe. It succeeds at what it needs to do to be popular but never capitalizes on its full potential.
