News Shonen Jump Not Announcing Anime of Sega's Shining RPGs on Monday
posted on 2011-11-06 23:49 EST
ANN obtained this year's 48th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and confirmed that it is not announcing an anime based on Sega's Shining game franchise on Monday. The magazine devotes page 221 to Shining Blade, the latest entry in the role-playing game franchise that is slated for the PSP next spring. However, the page does not mention any anime plans.
An anonymous poster on the 2channel forum claimed on Saturday to be reposting information about a "Shining Blade x Hearts" television anime, based on the Shining game franchise, from the studio Production I.G and the staff of the Sakura Wars anime. This led several websites to repeat the information without verification or an image source.

Review
If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.
On the whole, The Battle for Doldrey is a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses. While that may be true of most things, there are few places where those lines are so clearly drawn as in this film.
