Viz Media Europe Announces New President

Viz Media Europe announced on Tuesday that Hyoe Narita, former Executive Vice President at the San Francisco branch of Viz Media, will become the new president of Viz Media Europe (VME) on December 1. Narita will manage Viz Media's European operations with Cedric Littardi, Managing Director of Kazé, and Nicolas Weber Krebs, Managing Director of VIZ Media Switzerland. The new VME president spent the last nine years at Viz Media in San Francisco and previously worked for the Japanese publisher Shogakukan.

After helping found VME in 2007, John Easum will step down from his position as current VME president at the end of this month. Easum will move to Tokyo in December to continue as an active member of the anime and manga industry.
