Lost in Translation
Gravitation manga creator Maki Murakami relaunched her Kanpai! (Kimi no Unaji ni Kanpai!) manga series in the second issue of Gentosha's Comic Spica magazine on Monday. It has been about decade since Murakami last worked on the series.
Like the first comedy manga series, the new Kimi no Unaji ni Kanpai! R series follows Shintarō Yamada, a middle school student who happens to a monster guardian. Yamada protects monsters from hunters and others who wish to exterminate them.
The original series ran Gentosha's Monthly Comic Birz magazine, and Gentosha is reissuing its two volumes in a combined special edition on December 24. Murakami resumed her Gravitation EX boys-love manga in Gentosha's online magazine Web Spica in June.
The current issue of Comic Spica also launched Auri Hirao's omnibus manga series O to K no Aida and Akiyoshi Fūrin's Gosenzo! manga series.
