Over Drive Creator Tsuyoshi Yasuda Starts New Manga

Kuroneko Dance manga to chronicle life of Shinsengumi member Souji Okita
The January issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine began publication on Tsuyoshi Yasuda's (Over Drive) new manga Kuroneko Dance on Tuesday. Kuroneko Dance chronicles the adolescent life of the historical Shinsengumi captain Souji Okita.
Yasuda's Over Drive bicycle manga (pictured at right) was adapted into a 26-episode television anime series with director Takao Kato (Busou Renkin, To Love-Ru) in 2007.
The January issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine also noted that Yūgo Kobayashi (Mizu no Mori) will start his tentatively-titled Tenman à la carte gourmet manga in the magazine's February issue on January 6.
