Each volume to also include short novel by original author, art by designers

The six monthly Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes for the High School DxD television anime series will ship between March 21 and August 22 of next year, and each volume will have an original video. Ichiei Ishibumi, the author of the light novels that inspired the anime series, is supervising the Mōsō Bakuyō Kaijo videos.

The first volume will also contain a collection of commercial clips and promotional videos. Each volume will bundle a CD, an exclusive clear case illustrated by original novel illustrator Miyama-Zero and anime character designer Junji Goto, color cards illustrated by Miyama, and a Mōsō Magazine☆Yoru collection of production materials (including a short novel by Ishibumi, an illustrated message drawn by Miyama, and a collection of four eyecatch illustrations from the anime).

The story follows Issei Hyōdō, a dim-witted, lecherous second-year high school student who is killed by a girl on his first date ever. Issei (Yuuki Kaji) is reincarnated as a devil, and from that day forward, he serves as an underling of Riasu (Yōko Hikasa), a high-level devil who is also the prettiest girl on Issei's campus.

The series will premiere in Japan on January 6.
