News 163,000 Attend Latest Jump Festa Event

The Mainchi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web site reported on Tuesday that about 163,000 people attended Shueisha's Jump Festa 2012 event, which was held in Chiba City on December 17 and 18. This is a decrease of about 2,000 people since last year's event.
The Weekly Shonen Jump publisher Shueisha has held the Jump Festa fan event every year since 2001. The "Jump Genga World" area where visitors could draw their own works and the station where people could try Sony's new PlayStation Vita portable platform were popular at this year's event.
