News Barnes & Noble Considers Spinning Off Nook

The bookstore chain Barnes & Noble revealed on Thursday that it is considering spinning off its Nook operations into a separate segment. The company expects the Nook electronic book reader and related business to bring in US$1.5 billion in revenue during the current fiscal year.
