Media Blasters Reveals Fushigi Yugi Box Set for April

The North American anime distributor Media Blasters posted the cover for a previously unannounced Fushigi Yugi Season One Box Set. According to Media Blasters, this box is slated for April.
Pioneer (later renamed Geneon Entertainment) once released the 1995-1996 Fushigi Yugi anime in North America. The anime series also spawned three OVA series, which Geneon Entertainment also released between 2000-2002. Viz Media published Yuu Watase's original Fushigi Yugi manga series in North America, and it published the ninth volume of the Fushigi Yûgi: Genbu Kaiden spinoff in November 2009. The tenth volume was released in Japan last June. A stage play adaptation of the original manga series ran in Japan in 2010.
