Washington D.C.'s Smithsonian American Art Museum will host the Metal Gear Solid game series designer Hideo Kojima at "The Art of Video Games" art exhibition's "GameFest!" event on March 17. The "GameFest!" event will take place from March 16 to 18, and the art exhibition will run from March 16 to September 30 at the museum.

"A conversation with Hideo Kojima" will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the McEvoy Auditorium. Although admission will be free, visitors must register for a ticket online beginning on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. EST. The Smithsonian museum will also stream the session on the day of the event.

Kojima Productions, Konami's game development studio helmed by Kojima, launched a recruitment page on Wednesday for the "next" Metal Gear Solid project. The 65th issue of the United Kingdom's official PlayStation magazine also published an interview with Kojima on November 29. The designer discussed his past and future game projects including plans for a new Metal Gear Solid 5 game.
