Tiger & Bunny's 1st Film Sells 18,117 Tickets in 2 Days

The Gekijō-ban Tiger & Bunny -The Beginning- anime film sold 18,117 tickets in the first two days of advance sales this past weekend. The film is the first of the two that are planned for the Tiger & Bunny franchise. Shochiku, the film's distributor, announced that the film will open in September, and the Warner Mycal Cinemas chain lists a September 22 opening date.
