News Joshiraku Anime to Be Produced by J.C. Staff

J.C. Staff is producing the anime adaptation of Kôji Kumeta and Yasu's Joshiraku manga. The announcement was made at Anime Contents Expo on Sunday.
The story follows the behind-the-scenes dressing-room conversations of a group of female (joshi) Japanese verbal show (rakugo) performers. Kumeta is best known for the Sayonara, Zetsubō-sensei and Katteni Kaizō manga/anime stories, while Yasu illustrated the Toradora! light novels.
