News California's Royal/T Maid Café/Art Gallery Closing
posted on 2012-04-23 09:59 EDT
The L.A. Weekly newspaper reported on Thursday that the maid café and art gallery Royal/T would be closing its Culver City location in California. Royal/T was notable for its costumes inspired by Japanese maid cafés, as well as for its eclectic pop culture events.
Owner Susan Hancock confirmed that despite the closing of Royal/T's physical location, there are plans for a series of "roaming special events, exhibits, shows, brand partnerships and pop-ups in Los Angeles and around the world."
Royal/T has not confirmed the exact date of its closing, but it still plans to host "The Art of Cooking" show from April 27 to August 1.
