Manga creator Milk Morinaga (Girlfriends) will start Gakuen Poriiche (School Police), and Chihiro Miya will begin Kikaijikake no Merudiina (Mechanical Meldina) in the June issue of Futabasha's Comic High! magazine on May 22.
Morinaga's school police story will have a yuri theme. Her previous yuri manga Kuchibiru Tameiki Sakurairo (Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink; pictured right) ended in the February issue of the magazine, which also revealed that she would start a new series in the June issue.
Miya's "steampunk and retro-future" story will center on a girl named Merudiina who dislikes humans and only opens her heart to machines. Her life begins to change one day when she happens to find a huge abandoned machine.
