Momoiro Clover Z to Perform in Malaysia

The five-girl idol unit Momoiro Clover Z has announced that on May 26, they will be performing in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia, as a part of the celebration of this year's Malaysian National Youth Day, also known as Hari Belia Negara 2012. (The official capital of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur.)
Sponsored by Malaysia's National Youth and Sports Department, a special stage will be built within the event's Japan booth for the live performance. The announcement was made May 9 at a special press conference in the "umu" event space in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills. The performance will mark the group's first live event in an Asian country outside of Japan.
This year's celebration of Malaysian National Youth Day (Hari Belia Negara) takes place between May 23 and 27. A Gundam scale model assembly competition is also listed among the festivities.
