News Big Comic Spirits Staffer Arrested on Indecency Charges

The television affiliates TBS and MBS report that an editorial staff member of Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine was arrested for indecent acts with a high school girl at Tokyo's Roppongi Hills complex late this month. The 40-year-old suspect Junichirō Tanaka is accused of embracing the alleged victim from the back, touching her chest, and other acts. Tanaka was reportedly identified after a witness sketch was produced and an analysis of surveillance footage. Shogakukan said that it is treating the arrest seriously and that it is dealing with the employee severely.
