Game developer Hideo Kojima posted an image on Tuesday of Jiro Matsumoto's Joshi Kōhei manga — along with the comment that the title is the manga that he would most like to turn into a game using his company's Fox Engine software engine. The story is set in New Tokyo in Dimensional Century 2011 and follows Joshi Kōhei — giant robots that happen to take the form of high school girls. (Matsumoto launched the series in real-life in Shinchosha's Monthly Comic Bunch magazine in 2011.)
Matsumoto's manga Velveteen & Mandala was released in English by the publisher Vertical in 2011.
