BlazBlue Series Hits 1.7 Million Units Sold Globally, 800,000 in US

As a part of the celebration of the title's three-year anniversary, the North American game publisher Aksys announced global sales numbers for the BlazBlue series. The series has sold over 1.7 million copies worldwide, 800,000 of which belong to the United States.
Additionally, Aksys announced that they will hold a series of contests from August through October. While specific details have yet to be revealed, entrants will have the chance to win body pillows of the character Jin, signed illustrations by the BlazBlue team, as well as a BlazBlue banner commemorating the anniversary.
