Tokyo Game Show Draws Record 223,753 Visits in 4 Days

This year's Tokyo Game Show recorded 223,753 visits during the four-day event, an increase of 1,085 from last year's record-breaking 222,668 number. This year's event was held at the Makuhari Messe event hall in Chiba from September 20-23.
The first two days were open to business personnel only and recorded 51,895 visits (down 1.5% from last year). The third and fourth days were open to the public. The third day drew 94,989 visits, while the fourth and final day was overcast and drew 76,869 visits.
The convention will return to Makuhari Messe next year and will run from September 19-22.
A person who attended to all four days of Tokyo Game Show would be counted four times under the tallying system the event uses.
