Unprinted Color Cyborg 009 Manga Chapter Found

Ishimori Productions has revealed that it has found a 24-page unpublished colored chapter from Shōtarō Ishinomori's Cyborg 009 manga. The chapter (pictured at right), which was written as a part of the "Mythos Cyborg" arc, had been colored 42 years ago.
The publisher fukkan.com will publish the chapter as a part of its third full-color compiled volume reissue of the original serialized manga. The company published the 695-page "Underground Empire Yomi Version" compiled volume in August, and it published the 693-page "Birth/Assassin Version" compiled volume on Tuesday. The third "Mythos Cyborg Version" volume that includes the newly-discovered chapter will ship in December.
The digital comics platform Comixology announced earlier this month that is has it licensed the entire catalog of Ishinomori's works, including Cyborg 009. Comixology will also release Archaia's American graphic novel adaptation from writers FJ DeSanto and Bradley Cramp and illustrator Marcus To.
In the original manga, the secret Black Ghost organization transforms nine unsuspecting humans into cyborgs. However, the nine cyborgs turn on their masters and protect the rest of humanity from Black Ghost's plans for world war.
