News Nintendo UK Rep: No Wii Mini Plans Outside Canada
posted on 2012-12-01 23:43 EST
James Honeywell, the head of consumer marketing for Nintendo's United Kingdom branch, said there are no plans to release the Wii Mini console outside of Canada. He specifically added, "We have no plans to launch it in the UK. Our focus here is all about Wii U," he said.
The smaller, red Wii Mini will be out in time for Christmas in Canada. The console does not play GameCube titles and does not support online net access. It has a retail price of CAD$99.99, and it will include a Wii Remote Plus controller and Nunchuk controller.
Nintendo's latest console, the Wii U, launched in North America on November 18 and in the United Kingdom yesterday. It hits store shelves in Japan on December 8.

If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.
On the whole, The Battle for Doldrey is a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses. While that may be true of most things, there are few places where those lines are so clearly drawn as in this film.
