Final chapter of Akihito Yoshitomi's Sisterism published in magazine's last volume

The Japanese publisher Houbunsha ended publication of its Tsubomi yuri manga anthology on Wednesday with the magazine's 21st issue.

Wednesday's issue published the final chapter of Akihito Yoshitomi's Sisterism manga. The other manga series are planned to continue, but the medium in which they will continue will be announced at a later date.

Houbunsha will still publish compiled book volumes of manga serialized in Tsubomi, and Tsubomi's web manga series will still be updated online.

Houbunsha launched Tsubomi as a quarterly magazine in February 2009. In 2010 the magazine changed to bimonthly and was published in even-numbered months. The magazine had featured works from Milk Morinaga, Megane Ōtomo, Nawoko, Mitsuru Hattori, Izumi Kazuto, and Fūka Mizutani, among others.
