Naoshi Komi's Nisekoi and Haruichi Furudate's Haikyū manga received a crossover in this year's combined 6th/7th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Friday. The 15-page manga pits the characters from both series against each other in a summertime beach volleyball battle.

The fifth compiled book volume of the Nisekoi romantic comedy manga and the fourth volume of the Haikyū volleyball manga both shipped in Japan on Friday. Nisekoi joined Viz Media's Shonen Jump Alpha digital anthology in November.

Manga creator Kōji Ōishi (Inumarudashi—, Maison de Penguin) also published the one-shot manga "Hyōjōfu-bu" in the current Weekly Shonen Jump. The gag comedy story centers on two male figure skaters and a girl who were childhood friends. The next issue will run the one-shot manga "Aruberii to Aware na Akuma Tsuki" by Yōichi Amano (Over Time, Akaboshi) on January 21.
