Btooom's Junya Inoue to Launch La Vie en Doll Manga

The February issue of Shueisha's Monthly Jump X (Kai) magazine announced on Thursday that Btooom! manga creator Junya Inoue will launch his new series La Vie en Doll this spring.
Inoue's Btooom! series has run in Shinchosha's Weekly Comic Bunch and Monthly Comic @Bunch magazines, and the 10th volume shipped in Japan on Wednesday. Yen Press will publish the first volume of the manga in North America on February 26. The survival action manga was recently adapted into a 12-episode anime series by MADHOUSE and streamed by Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan. The series' last episode aired on December 20, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for release in North America.
The February issue of Jump X also published the start of the vampire story Boku no Chi de Yokereba (If My Blood is Good Enough for You) by Tsukiko, the "Kono Mama Owatte Tamaru ka" one-shot by Kazuya Konomoto, and the "Chō Kenji Shōnen" story by Takayuki Watanabe (a winner of Jump X's 1st new manga creator competition). The March issue will include a new one-shot by Hisae Iwaoka (Saturn Apartments) titled "Koshoku Robot" (Solitary Eating Robot).
