Futabasha Ends Bishōjo Manga Magazine Comic Sumomo

Yuna Kagesaki's Onii-chan Control returns to Comic High! with 4 others; some go online or end

Japanese publisher Futabasha has ended its bimonthly bishōjo manga magazine Comic Sumomo on its 16th issue on Tuesday. The last issue announced the fates of the various manga titles:

Moving to Comic High! magazine:
Ore-sama to Kōni by Fumika Natsume (April 22)
Soko ni Osuwari! by Hidetaka Kakei (April 22)
Onii-chan Control by by Yuna Kagesaki (May 22)
Yuka to Mari to Iinchō by TakayaKi (May 22)
Lolikko Shima (Lolita Island) by Satoru Matsubayashi (May 22)

Moving to WEB Comic High! site:
Asahi Ojō-sama to Kashima-kun by Cotoji
Papa de Ko by Tanimoto
Boku no Imōto-san! by Shun Kasuga

To be completed in final book volume:
Ojōsama no Shitsukekata by Nikusoukyu.

Completed in Comic Sumomo's final issue:
Zantei Kanojo ~Binkan Fighter~ by Tanuki Yumeno

Comic Sumomo launched on August 10, 2010 as a spinoff (with the concept of "fresh, cute, and just slightly H heroines") from Futabasha's Manga Action magazine. Kagesaki (Chibi Vampire/Karin) had moved her Onii-chan Control from Comic High! to Comic Sumomo for that launch.
