Sony's Gaikai Registers 'PlayStation-Cloud' Site Domains

The cloud services company Gaikai registered the site domain names PlayStation-Cloud.com, PlayStation-Cloud.org and PS-Cloud.net on Friday. Sony bought Gaikai for US$380 million last year and the Wall Street Journal newspaper reported that Sony intends to utilize Gaikai's technology to stream games.

Sony will hold a press conference in New York on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. EDT, and Wall Street Journal predicts Sony will unveil the successor to its PlayStation 3 video game console at the event.
