12th volume to be released in Japan on Friday

The June issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Cheese! magazine announced on Wednesday that there are only three chapters left to Rei Tōma's fantasy manga Dawn of the Arcana (Reimei no Arcana).

The story revolves around Princess Nakaba of Senan, who is forced to marry Prince Caesar of the enemy country Belquat, in order to seal the peace between their countries. While Caesar is pleasing to the eye, he is also selfish and possessive, telling Nakaba outright: "You are my property." With only her half-beast attendant Loki at her side, Nakaba must find a way to cope with her hostile surroundings, her fake marriage, an intrigue-laden court... and a mysterious power.

Shogakukan will publish the 12th book volume of the manga in Japan on Friday.

North American distributor Viz Media acquired the license to the manga in 2011, and it released nine volumes so far, with the 10th to be released on June 4. Volume 5 and Volume 9 have made it to The New York Times' weekly manga bestseller list in 2012 and 2013.
