Gundam: Far East Japan Manga to Launch in May

Lost+Brain's Akira Ōtani draws new series in Shōnen Sunday Super

The June issue of Shogakukan's Shōnen Sunday Super magazine announced on Thursday that manga creator Akira Ōtani (Lost+Brain, Tour!) will launch the Mobile Suit Gundam: Far East Japan manga series in the next issue on May 25. The first chapter will be 55 pages long with a color opening page. Daichi Banjou (DAN DOH!!) just ended Mobile Suit Gundam: Hunter of Black Clothes, a manga about a Zeon ace in the One Year War, in the same June issue.

Two new Gundam Seed Astray manga were announced last month, and a Gundam UC manga starring Bright Noa launched in Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine in February.
