Kaori Yuki Begins Ludwig Gensōu Kyoku Manga Mini-Series

Manga creator Kaori Yuki (Fairy Cube, Godchild) will begin her new mini-series in the July issue of Hakusensha's Bessatsu Hana to Yume magazine on May 25. The manga, titled Ludwig Gensōkyoku –Kaguya-hime- (Ludwig Fantasy: Princess Kaguya), will revolve around an extremely selfish prince named Ludwig and the princess from the classic Japanese folk tale. (The same tale has inspired a film from Isao Takahata and Studio Ghibli this year, as well as many other anime and manga.) Yuki already created Ludwig Kakumei, a manga about Prince Ludwig's search for a wife, from 2004 to 2007.
Yuki is also still serializing her Iiki no Ki manga in Kodansha's Aria magazine.
