Right Stuf to Release Gundam UC Anime Series on DVD

The North American licensor and retailer Right Stuf, Inc. announced on Tuesday that it has sealed a distribution deal with Sunrise to release the Mobile Suit Gundam UC video anime series on DVD in North America starting in August 2013.
The seven-episode video anime series, which debuted in 2010, is being released on Blu-ray Disc in Japan and North America simultaneously. The final episode is scheduled to ship on Blu-ray Disc in spring 2014.
Right Stuf's DVD release will ship in four volumes, with each of the first three volumes containing two episodes. The final set will contain the seventh installment and additional extras.
The first two releases containing the first four episodes will ship in two sets on August 20. Each set will include both English and Japanese audio tracks and English and Spanish subtitles. The first two DVD sets are available now for pre-order on Right Stuf. The releases will retail for US$29.99 each but Right Stuf is currently accepting pre-orders for US$17.99 each.
The anime series adapts Harutoshi Fukui's light novels of the same name.
