Diamond Comics to Distribute Godzilla Merchandise

Diamond Book Distributors, the comic book distributor for many publishers, signed a deal to distribute Godzilla merchandise from Toho Company Ltd. The deal includes toys, comics, collectibles, and lifestyle products.
Diamond's May Previews magazine is featuring Godzilla merchandise from Bandai's Tamashii Nations toy brand, X-Plus, and Marrmit as well as exclusive t-shirts. The products are slated to ship in July.
Gareth Edwards is currently shooting the upcoming 3D Godzilla film remake in Canada. The film will open on May 16, 2014.
Diamond signed to distribute Studio Ghibli merchandise in March and became the "preferred partner" for Osamu Tezuka property merchandise in December.
