Square Enix Trademarks 'Final Fantasy Agito' in Japan

The Kōkai Shōhyō Kōhō service reports that Square Enix filed a trademark for "Final Fantasy Agito" in Japan on April 24.

In Square Enix's Final Fantasy Type-0 PlayStation Portable game, Agito are prophesied saviors said to appear during a calamity. The characters in the game's Class Zero are thought to be Agito. Final Fantasy Agito XIII was also the original title of the game.

Final Fantasy Type-0 was released in Japan in 2011. It has not been released in North America.
