The packaged and downloadable versions of the software will cost 3,990 yen (about US$41) each, and each will include 20 days of gameplay for free. The 9,800-yen (US$100) Special Pack will add a Slime-themed Square Enix Security Token - Dragon Quest Version for secure logins, as well as a Dragon Quest X Game Controller for PC, a Monster Reference - Dragon Quest X Special book, a Dragon Quest X Exclusive World Map (made from microfiber cloth), and in-game item codes.

The web page for Windows beta test opened with Saturday.
