Comic LO Magazine Manga Artist Yasuda Passes Away

Kana-chan Tsukareteru!! & Ageha Chō Aishiteru creator, leader of Yasudanchi dōjinshi circle was 24

Manga creator Raryū Kitamine (Sachiru Delusion) revealed on his blog on Friday that Comic LO magazine artist Yasuda (Kana-chan Tsukareteru!!, Ageha Chō Aishiteru) has passed away due to a sudden illness. He was 24.

Yasuda fell ill at the end of last month. The artist was living alone in Tokyo this year, and his parents grew concerned after they could not contact him. They travelled to his home and discovered that Yasuda had already passed away.

Kitamine learned of his friend's passing about two weeks ago. He had stayed at Yasuda's home and his dōjinshi circle received help from Yasuda around the time of the Comitia dōjinshi event on May 5. Kitamine reported that Yasuda appeared as healthy as always at that time and also seemed healthy around the time of the late artist's birthday on May 26, according to his friends.

Yasuda and his dōjinshi circle Yasudanchi had been preparing a new publication for this summer's Comic Market (Comiket) event that will take place from August 10 to 12.

Yasuda's Ageha Chou Aishiteru (I love Ageha Very Much) appeared in the December 2011 issue of Comic LO, Kana-chan Tsukareteru!! (Kana Is Possessed!!) in the October 2012 issue, and Kotori mo Nakazuba Zenpen (If the Little Bird Doesn't Cry Part One) in the April 2013 issue.
