News Crunchyroll to Stream Meganebu, Galilei Donna, Walkure Romanze Anime

Meganebu! will begin streaming for premium subscription members on October 6 at 12:00 p.m. ET in North America. Galilei Donna will begin streaming for premium subscription members on October 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Central and South America including Caribbean, Europe (including Scandinavia and French-speaking and German-speaking territories). Walkure Romanze will begin streaming for premium subscription members on October 6 at 12:30 p.m. ET worldwide except for Asia.
Crunchyroll will also begin streaming the second season of Bottom Biting Bug on September 30 at 6:00 p.m. in United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, France, French DOM-TOM, Andorra, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco.
Studio DEEN will be animating the Meganebu! anime about a group of "ikemegane" (handsome eyeglasses-wearing) high school boys. Independent director Soubi Yamamoto (This Boy Can Fight Aliens!, This Boy Caught a Merman) is making her television anime directorial debut with Meganebu!, Atsuko Nakajima (Hakuōki, Ranma ½) is designing the characters, and Deco Akao (Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge, Arakawa Under the Bridge) is supervising the series scripts.
The "battle action adventure" story of Galilei Donna takes place in the year 2061 AD, where global warming is a thing of the past and the early days of a glacial era now cover the entire world. Three descendents of Galileo living in Tuscany, Italy—Hozuki Ferrari, Hazuki Ferrari, and Kazuki Ferrari—are suddenly attacked by a mysterious organization and ultimately end up on international wanted lists. The organization's purpose is something called "Galileo Tezoro." With no clue what is going on, the three sisters must join forces to overcome the crisis, but their personalities are too different, making this no easy task.
Yasuomi Umetsu (Robot Carnival, Mezzo, Kite) is directing Galilei Donna at A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Silver Spoon), and Shingo Adachi (Working!!, Sword Art Online) is designing the characters. Hideyuki Kurata,Touko Machida, Jun Kumagai, Atsushi Oka are writing the scripts.
Ricotta's original adult PC game Walkure Romanze (Walkure Romanze Shōjo Kishi Monogatari) centers around Takahiro Mizuno, a student training to be a begleiter (knight's assistant) at an academy where aspiring knights joust. He himself had come to this academy to train as a knight, after becoming the unrivaled junior champion in his own home country. However, an injury in a tournament's finals forced him to withdraw. Instead, he decides to be a begleiter to one of the academy's maiden knights and help her win.
Yusuke Yamamoto (Sergeant Frog, Aquarion Evol) will direct the series, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Detective Opera Milky Holmes, Kämpfer) is overseeing the screenplay. Kenichirou Katsura (Utawarerumono) is the character designer for the series, and 8-Bit is producing the series. Lantis will handle the music and Miyuki Hashimoto will be singing the opening.
The second series of Oshiri Kajiri Mushi (Bottom Biting Bug) is inspired by the hit children's song of the same name. The theme of the second season as “empathy for others.” The gag comedy will continue to focus on Oshiri Kajiri Mushi XVIII, a 10-year-old insect who goes Biting School to inherit his family's Biting Shop business. In the new anime, he will attend a town idol audition, a town trash-cleaning event, an autumn festival, and more.
Masayuki Kojima will return to direct the anime alongside new director Kaori at the studio Kinema Citrus. Pierre Sugiura is in charge of the scripts. Original character designer Uruma Delvi will once again be designing the characters for the anime. Crunchyroll streamed the first series into several countries as it aired in Japan.
