Final Fantasy XIV's 'Wolves' Den' Arena Previewed in Video

Player vs. player coliseum update arrives for PS3/PC game this winter

The official YouTube channel for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn began streaming a new video on Monday to preview the Wolves' Den, a player vs. player arena that Square Enix will release in winter 2013 as part of the game's next major content update. Square Enix previously showed this video at New York Comic Con last weekend. The coliseum will feature four-on-four combat, and will have PvP-only actions that "grant immediate recovery from sleep, bind and other enfeeblement effects."

Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV Online for personal computers in September 2010. After criticism from fans, the company revealed an updated version of the game titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that adds a new world and story. Square Enix released the game on PC and PlayStation 3 in August, and the game will also be released for PlayStation 4 in 2014.
