posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
2-episode special to air on TV on November 29 after DVD/BD release

Aniplex and TBS aired a new television ad for the Hidamari Sketch: Sae/Hiro Sotsugyō-hen anime on Friday. Yuno (voiced by Kana Asumi) narrates the ad, saying, "Sae and Hiro are about to graduate, and next month they will leave the Hidamari Apartments. I can't even think about it. I wonder if I can see them off with a smiling face." The ad features the song "Mata ne, Yōkoso, Hidamari-sō" (See You Later, Welcome, Hidamari Apartments).

The story of the first episode, "Juken Sketch" (Examination Sketch), is set from February 1 to February 20. The second and final episode, "Sotsugyō Sketch" (Graduation Sketch), is set from February 28 to the last day of school, March 1. The Blu-ray Disc and DVD will ship on November 27 with Digipak packaging illustrated by original creator Ume Aoki, an exclusive "Hidamari Emotion" drama CD, an ending illustration pinup image, case, exclusive 32-page booklet, two graduation certificate pinups, and audio commentary. The two-episode special will also air on BS-TBS on November 29.

Hidamari Sketch's story centers around a high school for the arts and the everyday life of some of its students. Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine published the original manga by Ume Aoki (Puella Magi Madoka Magica designer) in Japan. Yen Press publishes the Sunshine Sketch manga in North America, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the four television anime series.
