Satoshi Mizukami's 10-volume supernatural series previously had partial digital release from JManga

North American publisher Seven Seas Entertainment posted a short video on Monday featuring a staff member flipping through a volume of Satoshi Mizukami's The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer (Hoshi no Samidare) manga with the caption "New license - can you guess what it is?" The company did not provide any more details about the release.

JManga had previously released five volumes of the manga digitally before the company ended service in May. JManga had described the series as follows:

Asamiya Yuuhi was an ordinary college student... until the day a lizard showed up and asked him to help save the world. The next thing he knows, he's been given a ring and special powers, plus an enemy stalking him. However, he's saved in the nick of time by the girl next door, Samidare, who's planning... WHAT kinds of things?! This is an unconventional story that mixes ordinary life with the bizarre and supernatural!

Mizukami launched the series in Shonengahosha's Young King magazine in April 2005, and the publisher released the 10th and final compiled volume in November 2010.
