Fantagraphics Reaches Kickstarter Goal for Spring/Summer Books

North American publisher Fantagraphics Books met its Kickstarter campaign goal of US$150,000 in pledges on Tuesday. The publisher launched the campaign last week to release 39 graphic novels and books as scheduled next spring and summer. The lineup includes volume 7 of Takako Shimura's Wandering Son manga.
As one reason for the campaign, the company cites financial hardships since the recent death of its co-owner and co-publisher Kim Thompson.
