News Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou Gets 10th Anniversary Manga

Tecmo Koei announced at its "Sengoku Musou 10th Anniversary Presentation" event on Friday that a new manga adaptation of its Sengoku Musou (Samurai Warriors) games has been green-lit. The Sengoku Musou 10th Anniversary manga will run in the March issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine (ships on February 6), the spinoff publication Monthly Shonen Magazine+ (February 20), and the May issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine (April 5). Seijirō Narumi (Seisen Cerberus: Mō Hitori no Eiyū) is drawing the manga.
Friday's event also unveiled the Sengoku Musou SP Sanada no Shō (Samurai Warriors Special: Sanada's Chapter) anime in March, the Sengoku Musou Shoot smartphone app next spring, the "Ten-Year Festival" voice cast event at the Pacifico Yokohama on March 8 and 9, a Sengoku Musou sword exhibition ("similar to the one for Evangelion") next summer, more collaborative eyeglasses inspired by the game's characters next summer, a collaborative campaign with the TBi Group next spring, and a musical collaboration with the rock band Kuroyume.
